When you have been trading for sometime and you know the basics of the market then you you would probably want to try your skills on a forex standard account which gives you the possibility to earn more than you can do in a mini account,by increasing the value of the pip.When the pip pays $0.20 in the mini account ,it pays $1.00 in the standard account in the EURUSD pair.Trading is the same way as it is in the mini account when you are trading through the website trader platform ,while you can open a MT4 (MetaTader4) platform account and start trading through it.When you open an MT4 Standard Trading Account the trading changes and while in the website trader platform you need minimum $50 to open a new position ,in MT4 platform that takes $163 but you can hedge.That means that if you have opened a position but the market moves against you ,then you can open a new position in the opposite direction of the already opened one,thing which you canot do in the website trading platform.The value of the pip in both platforms remains the same at $1.00/pip.
